Loupedeck, the creators of the custom editing consoles - Loupedeck+ and Loupedeck Creative tool, is excited to announce the latest software version, 3.1, which includes support for Adobe Audition and Adobe After Effects, and features increased customization for a faster, more intuitive workflow.
Following the successful launch of Loupedeck CT with its initial integrations with Adobe Lightroom Classic, Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, and Ableton Live, we are now extending additional support for Adobe Audition and Adobe After Effects. Now both Loupedeck+ and Loupedeck CT users can experience a faster more intuitive editing workflow as well as an increased level of functionality and flexibility within the realms of video and audio editing.
Whether you are editing photos, video or audio having quick access to the tools you use, along with an intuitive user interface is essential in order to enhance the editing process. Loupedeck has always been in the business of making your workflow, more intuitive and overall more enjoyable, which is why we are providing even more creative control in Software Version 3.1.
Loupedeck CT users can find the new “shortcut and user actions maker” within the Loupedeck software under the User Actions panel, which is show in the image on your left. This is where you will be able to create new shortcuts and “User Actions” aka macros in a matter of minutes. User Actions can be created for each software Loupedeck CT supports.
For the first time ever, Lightroom Classic users will be able to automate various tasks within their photo editing workflow using Loupedeck’s User Actions and custom shortcut creation tool. Working with shortcuts and User Actions has the power to enhance the way you work by allowing you to automate tedious and repetitive tasks within your workflow.
The image displayed here shows an example of a use-case scenario within Lightroom Classic of a User Action. This User Action depicts how a user may combine various User Actions and custom shortcuts to apply Black and White settings to a batch of images. With a simple push of a button this User Action will, Select All images within a batch, apply auto tone settings, apply a B&W custom user preset, apply lens profile corrections, and then rate each image with 3 stars. This User Action removes the need to search through menus for these various action and removes the need to apply them manually, saving you time and allowing you to remain focused on your work.
The possibilities of how you can enhance your video editing workflow with User Actions in Premiere Pro is endless. User Actions within Premiere Pro removes the need to ever touch your mouse or keyboard, which creates a much more efficient workflow and a more intuitive user experience.
The following image depicts one of many use-case scenarios of how to can combine shortcuts and actions into a User Action to fully automate the editing workflow. The concept of this particular User Action is to speed up the process of selecting desired clips and placing them on your timeline, and assigning In and Out points on the clip perform various tasks allowing you to move to the next clip faster. With a simple push of a button, this User Action will Mark Out, move the clip instantly to your timeline, activate project window, switch to the next clip and automatically bring the clip to the Source Monitor. Using this User Action removes the need to access Premiere’s complex menus and also makes a rather tedious, but simple task fast and smooth.
